3DMark03 distribution a new record
Saratoga, California USA March 10, 2003 Futuremark Corporation announced today that over 2.5 million copies of its benchmark software 3DMark03 have been downloaded since launch last month.
"The demand for 3DMark03 has been incredible", said Tero Sarkkinen, Executive Vice President at Futuremark Corporation. "While we have learned to expect a significant demand for each new release in the 3DMark series, we have never seen this kind of visibility within the first month of the release. 3DMark03 has become an instant hit with millions of PC users worldwide.
3DMark03 sets the new standard for easily and objectively measuring and comparing modern PCs and 3D graphics performance. It supports the latest Microsoft® DirectX®9.0 and contains four new mind blowing real-time 3D game tests as well as advanced DirectX®9.0 feature tests.
